PHPStorm Wont Exit

Hello,

This just started after the 2.0 release.  I'm on OSX and when I try and quit phpStorm it just sits there and runs up the cpu for a while and I have to end up force quiting it.  I tried to find my profile for for the platform but I can't seem to find it.  Can anyone help??

Hi Jon,

I may be wrong here as I'm not a Mac user, but profile (configuration) should be located in ~/Library/Preferences/.WebIde10

It's here: ~/Library/Preferences/WebIDE10$

Thanks for the location.  I'll test this in a few.

  • System: ~/Library/Caches/WebIde10
  • Plugins: ~/Library/Application Support/WebIde10
  • Logs: ~/Library/Logs/WebIde10

May be also a result of http://youtrack.jetbrains.net/issue/IDEA-62543, but it should be already addressed in 2.0 release, check idea.log to know for sure.

Removing that folder did not work.  I'm going to Zapp the app later tonight and remove all the additional files with it.

Wait!

have you ran " repair permissions" in Disk Utility? Trust me.. do it. Not being able to exit a Java app is a classic.  I repair permissions weekly. To avoid these problems.
