Latest versions of tools crash on startup on Yosemite

Hello,
I use IntelliJ Ultimate and DataGrip on Yosemite. The latest versions (post 2016.1.1 IJ and 1.0.3 DG) crash on startup on Yosemite. I had to revert to older version via Time Machine to use the applications. Has anyone else experienced these issues?

Thanks. Installing Java 6 fixed the issue.
