(unix) double click to close tab
Answered
On my mac, when I press the middle mouse button on an intellij tab it closes the tab.
On my ubuntu machine, I have to press the middle mouse button twice after which while I 'chain' middle buttons I can single-press to close tabs.
This is exceedingly annoying behavior. Is there a way to set my ubuntu settings to just close tabs on single press?

Try adding custom mouse shortcut:
I am just now seeing this (2016 Dec 15) on my Ubuntu installation. I don't recall having to double-click to on the 'X' to close a tab. For me, the primary (left) mouse button now requires a double-click. Weird. And not really desirable.
I'm not sure how adding a Mouse Shortcut will help... I just want the Close action to happen like, really, every other window/tab I interact with in any program or OS - clicking on the 'X' should be 'Close', no?
Yes, clicking X will close the tab no matter what shortcuts are assigned to this action.
