Issue with missing minimize and maximize buttons in CLion on Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS
Answered
Hello, I just installed CLion 2024.3.3 on Linux Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS using the following commands:
sudo apt install clang* g++ build-essential default-jdk flatpaksudo flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakreposudo flatpak install flathub com.jetbrains.CLion
However, when I launch CLion for the first time, I notice that the minimize and maximize buttons are missing. There is only a close button (screenshot attached).

- Windowing system: X11
- CLion version: 2024.3.3
- Flatpak version: 1.14.6
I have already checked my system settings and confirmed that other applications display the buttons correctly.
What can I do to restore the missing buttons? Any help would be appreciated!

Bond Han Zero effort comments like this are not going to help your brand. Me any my colleagues all have this problem under KDE Plasma on Fedora 42 Silverblue.
