Open in find tool window replaces existing

When I check the usages of the function and press the Open in find tool window button, the new tab replaces the already opened one, meaning that I can have only one find open tab simultaneously. The bug started to appear after the update to 2025.1.0.1.

Could you please clarify what steps you perform so we better understand your scenario? A screen recording demonstrating the issue would be very helpful.
You wrote this started happening in 2025.1 - what version you upgraded from?
It started in 2025.0.1. After the update to 2025.1, the problem still occurs.
When I press button on the screenshot it opens the usages, but it closes currently opened tabs in Find tool area.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Close all the tabs in Find area.
2. Search for usage for class X and press button “Open in Find Tool window” (screenshot)
3. Search for usage for class Y and press again button “Open in Find Tool window” (screenshot)
4. The new tab with Y usage closes tab with X usage.
Thank you for the steps, I reproduced the issue and filed a new ticket to our tracker. Feel free to upvote IJPL-189612 and follow it for updates (see this article if you are not familiar with YouTrack).
As a workaround I can suggest that you enable the “Open results in new tab” option in the Find tool window settings after you have the first search result opened there.
