Gradle Syncing Unavailable

For some reason the Gradle Sync is not displaying, I have attempted to use the terminal and did not see it to the left of my screen, it is grayed out in the tool window, how can I try to sync it?

Maybe your project is not recognized as a Gradle project for some reason, does it help by taking below actions?

1. Fil | Invalidate Caches
2. Remove the project from IDE, re-import the project again?
3. If the issue persists, please share the sample project and the zipped log folder(Help | Collect Logs and Diagnostic Data) in https://uploads.jetbrains.com/ and let us know the upload id.

Please right click on "build.gradle" file and select "Link Gradle Project", the Gradle option under "Tool Windows" then became available again in my test.
