Atlassian removed JIRA integration APIs

Im receving the following error message when trying to open a task from JIRA since about a few hours. Worked perfectly before. According to the linked website, the changes were announced a few months ago already and I seem even lucky to not be affected sooner:
> There is a deprecation period of 6 months, and these endpoints will be removed after May 1, 2025.

Is there fix for this scheduled or any workaround? In the dialog to configure JIRA-integration I only see server settings, nothing related to the concrete endpoints to use. So I expect those to be hard-coded?

I was an latest already, explicitly checked for updates. Looks like one needs to install a newer plugin version manually, that fixed it for me as well.
