Navigate to excluded file

Hi,

In my project the target directory is an excluded directory, which works well. However, there is a log file in there that I access regularly. I can of course open the file by browsing in the project view, but is there a way to navigate to that file using the keyboard? Since it is in an excluded directory, Ctrl-Shift-N doesn't work.

I tried using a bookmark (F11), which works for a while, but the bookmark disappears whenever the target directory is cleaned out.

Any ideas?

(I use IntelliJ 2017.3.5 Ultimate on Windows)
