Spec

      IntelliJ IDEA 2018.1 (Community Edition)
      Build #IC-181.4203.550, built on March 26, 2018
      JRE: 1.8.0_152-release-1136-b20 amd64
JVM: OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM by JetBrains s.r.o
      Windows 10 10.0

Steps to replicate the bug

Select some text, press CTRL + F then CTRL + H, appear the message
The shortcut was changed. Press Alt + Down to open search history.

Now if you press again CTRL + H the search box is not displayed, if you try to close the search box  (opened with CTRL + F) with ESC it won't close. If you press again CTRL + F the search doesn't update.

The only way to open the search everywhere is, close manually the search box pressing on the X on top right of your screen and then press CTRL + H.
