Adapting to Mac shortcuts
Answered
I'm having trouble adapting to the Mac shortcuts (in multiple JetBrains IDEs). In particular, I'm very used to pressing Ctrl+W, Ctrl+C with my left hand to select the identifier I'm on, or Ctrl+W, Ctrl+V to replace it with another one. Alt+Up, Ctrl+C is much more awkward and needs both hands.
I'd be v. interested in any feedback from other users who have switched to Mac. Do you stick with the Mac shortcuts and adapt to them, or start reconfiguring things?

Adapting to the defaults is often the better choice. If you can't, start to remap.
Serge Baranov: I'd generally agree with that, but try the specific example I mentioned. I think that however much adaptation I do, the Mac sequence will be slower.
More generally, for reasons I don't understand, the Mac shortcuts often seem to need a _lot_ of modifier keys.
