Maven support turns files unversioned

Hi,

I've checked out a pretty big git project from bitbucket.

Everything seems fine util i add maven support.

As soon as i do, all files in all subfolders turn unversioned.

On the command line everything works fine, git does not recognize all these files unversioned only intelllij.

My intellij version: 2018.1.4 (May 17)

Any suggestions?
