Control+Shift+N no longer responds to left mouse click

Today I patched IJ to Build #IU-181.5087.20, built on May 16 2018.

When I type <ctrl>+<shift>+N the file browser appear. However file selection will not respond to left-clicking the mouse which results in the dialog box  simply closing and not opening the file in the editor for editing.
I can position the 'selected file line' in the dialog over a file using up and down arrow and select the file which will then open for file editing.

It's quite frustrating because I am used to former interaction in cases when the file is not high up in the list of matching files.

For your information, I tried reinstalling from a freshly downloaded installer, but that did not resolve the issue.

PS  It not stymied me completely as I said I can move the selected file line over the file and click return/enter.
