see? on the second line i have that block that select my letters i want to select the space between them and i cant pls help

Hi,
Make sure Tools | Vim Emulator is disabled.
If you did not intend to use it, I would suggest to uninstall IdeaVim plugin in Settings | Plugins
try click the "Ins" button left of "home"
