Can't use new default copyright in existing projects

I've just noticed that the copyright notice I defined in previous Idea version as the project default doesn't seem to have been imported into the latest version and so my newest project doesn't have any copyright defined at all.
I've now updated the default copyright for all new projects, but I can't see any way to use this copyright definition for my existing project?

Copyright profiler selected at File | Settings | Editor | Copyright has effect for the current project:
Yes, but the default copyright isn't listed as an option...
It appears to be a bug: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-207505.
