Two questions about brace highlighting

1. Why while I used operator[] I see what only left brace are hightlighted?
2. Why angled parentheses in templates are not able to hightlight?

2. You can change settings in File | Settings | Editor | Color Scheme | C/C++ > Braces and operators > Operator sign.
Hi, Anna! Operator sign in this setting allows you to turn on the backlight "forever", when I am talking about the backlight when setting the cursor to the position near the bracket.
Do you mean highlighting of matching braces? If yes, it's https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/CPP-5474.
