Left menu "Project" and space between code and line number

How can I fix this? There's a big space between line numbers and code.

View | Exit Distraction Free Mode.

It would be lovely to see some notification on how to leave this "Distraction Free" mode in the IDE. Once I accidentally entered it, I truly became distracted because I had no idea what happened and how to undo it.
