Alt F then S to save inserts S randomly
Answered
I am used to hitting Alt-F, then pressing "S" to save my current file, it's something I do often. But in IDEA, it seems that more often than not, a rogue "s" gets inserted where I type this. I don't have this issue in other editors, so I can only assume the editor is incorrectly forwarding the "s" to the editor after the menu invokes the save function, is there some way to prevent this?

What action do you have assigned to Alt-F (or `Alt-F + S`)? What keymap do you use?
Also, please, provide information from `Help | About`.
Hi Aseniy,
It just happened again, see the image below, where it inserted an "s" right at the cursor. I had highlighted and pressed the delete key, to remove an import. I can't get it to just happen when sitting there, so maybe it's only when it follows a specific type of action.

I have all default bindings, have not changed anything. When I hit Alt-F, the File menu comes up as expected, then I press S to save. I have not caught the file-menu not popping, so I know it's at least going there.
Thank you,

I got it to happen! You just have to hit Alt-F then S fast enough after Alt-F, that the menu hasn't fully popped yet before the S key hits. It registers, but the S makes it into the editor. Edit: can't get it to consistently do this, maybe you have to do something else in the editor to trip the behavior.
