Unable to open any file in any new or existing IntelliJ project.

As of 2019.1.3 #IU-191.7479.19 I cannot open any file or get the editor window to appear. I invalidated, tried other projects and disabled plugins still seems to be throwing the IDE out. A snippet of the log looks as follows; https://gitlab.com/snippets/1876558

Try reinstalling the IDE from http://www.jetbrains.com/idea/download/index.html.
If the issue persists, try disabling the EditorConfig plug-in: http://www.jetbrains.com/idea/webhelp/enabling-and-disabling-plugins.html.
Disabling the EditorConfig plugin did correct behavior. A re-install of IntelliJ fixed issue and plugin is active. Thanks for that.
Still unsure as to why the EditorConfig (191.7479.19) plugin stopped working?
It looks like some plug-in files were damaged. Not sure why.
