Python Console documentation doesn't work

Answered

Hi all,

OS: Ubuntu 18.04, Pycharm 2019.2, Python 3.6.8

When I put my cursor on the function's name and type ctrl+q I receive a popup with 'no documentation found' when I also tap on ctrl+p to check what are the input parameters I don't get anything. This happen only at the console and not at the script file.

Please help,

Hi Sergey,

How are you?

Is there any way to make a quick fix for this problem (rather than writing in the script file instead of the console)?

BR,

Aviv Shamsian

Hello Aviv,

It seems to be very inconsistent because sometimes it works, but most of the time it doesn't. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any workaround for it :(

Yes I forgot to mention it. At first I thought it was a problem with the project interpreter but then I have switched to another project which in my previous Pycharm version worked fine (in terms of console doc) and it didn't work as well unfortunately
