[Bug] Multi Monitor DPI artifacting/glitching
Hi,
I've been using Intellij for about 3 years, and ever since I started using a dual monitor setup, it's a timebomb until the window starts bugging out, and right click doesn't work, context menu erratically doesn't work, and all prompts (like autocomplete) stop showing up.
There are no video driver crashes or warnings, and I've never seen it happen in other applications.
It also doesn't happen when I'm using all monitors with the same DPI (not tested for long enough to be 100% sure), and never happens on a single monitor setup
Device is:
Dell XPS 9570
Video card: GTX 1050TI
CPU: Intel I7 8750-h
RAM: 16Gb
Intellij build version:
IntelliJ IDEA 2019.1.1 (Community Edition)
Build #IC-191.6707.61, built on April 16, 2019
JRE: 1.8.0_202-release-1483-b44 amd64
JVM: OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM by JetBrains s.r.o

Could you link me the issue that was fixed in 2019.2? I just updated it, but wanted to be sure.
I've seen comments saying that the next version fixed this issue for 3~4 builds now.
We've switched to JetBrains Runtime 11 in this release and there were other DPI related fixes.
I can't find that specific bug report right now, sorry.
Definitely not fixed yet. Changing the window between different DPI monitors sometimes causes glitching that is only fixed by reopening the application:
(the black box was an edit to hide source code)

How does the screenshot from 2019.1.4 version and JBR8 confirm that it's not fixed in 2019.2 version with JBR11?
My bad Serge. I'd updated the day before and 2019.2 wasn't available as an updt option. It is today. I'll test it for a couple of days and get back to you :)
