Clion valgrind cannot correctly specify xml file

Answered

Clion is installed on windows, connect remotely centos.

I have followed this article, but I cannot run valgrind correctly. My config is

I manually change --xml-file, valgrind works fine. So I think the problem is the default behavior of clion. Where or how can I change the --xml-file?

Looking forward to your reply

Hello!

1. Is WSL specified as your default toolchain? Please provide a screenshot of File | Settings | Build, Execution, Deployment | Toolchains.

2. What do you mean by "I manually change --xml-file"?

Valgrind for remote toolchain is not supported yet.

Feel free to comment or upvote https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/CPP-14178 in order to get updates. See https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/articles/207241135-How-to-follow-YouTrack-issues-and-receive-notifications if you are not familiar with YouTrack.

For now on Windows you can use Valgrind only via WSL toolchain - https://www.jetbrains.com/help/clion/memory-profiling-with-valgrind.html#valgrind-wsl.
