How to change color of character under caret

My caret is a nice hot pink. To help with the contrast i'd like to change the color of the text character right under the Caret. I'm sure there's a customizable variable in the color scheme for this, but can't seem to find it?

Could someone help?

I've tried Caret, Caret Row, Identifier under Caret (/Write) but it seems like this color is picked automatically?
