Intellij IDEA 2019.3 not scaling well on fractional high dpi screen on Linux
Answered
Of all the Jetbrains Applications that I have installed, only Pycharm 2019.2.5 scales well on fractional dpi screen with a font dpi of 120 set in the KDE Desktop. IntelliJ IDEA and other IDEs which are at version 2019.3 do not scale on fractional dpi screen. My laptop 15.6 inch screen has a 1920X1080 resolution. Below is a full desktop screenshot (Manjaro KDE Linux with force font dpi of 120 set) illustrating the problem. Note that font sizes has not been changed and if changed, the size of the Welcome interface does not increase.

Please show "about" popup of every IDE. What JBR is used to launch every of the IDEs?
Please see https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007994999 .
Konstantin Annikov about popup of the IDEs as shown below and they do not use JRB but openjdk/jre 13:
Serge Baranov I would like to follow that article but I would like to know how Pycham is the only IDE that scales on fractional high dpi screens but the others do not.
NOTE: The IDEs were installed via the Arch User Repository (AUR) from an Arch Linux based distro (Manjaro Linux).
DPI scaling depends on the runtime used for the IDE, see https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/articles/206544879 . Please always use JetBrains Runtime to run our products.
Serge Baranov and Konstantin Annikov I installed the jre package of the IDEs except pycharm which scales but does not have a separate jre package for the IDE that do not scale and they now scale well on fractional high dpi screen. It is jetbrains' custom JRE that makes it scale. Thanks for the help guys and this topic is solved. How do I mark this topic as solved or answered?
It's already marked as such.
