Error downloading Scala SDK from Project Structure - Global Libraries

I am using IntelliJ Ultimate 2019.3.1, Scala plugin installed. Whenever I try to download a Scala SDK from Project Structure -> Global Libraries -> Download, I get the error shown in the picture below. How do I solve it? By the way, the error message is too long that I can't see a full vision of it. Is there anyway to get a full error log?

Please report at https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/newIssue?project=SCL and attach the complete logs (https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/articles/207241085).

You should be able to copy/paste from this dialog, click to get focus, Cmd+A to select all, Cmd+C to Copy, Cmd+P to paste.

There is a related task at https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/SCL-16811 (to replace the SBT downloader).

What JDK do you use for this project? Which JDK is used to run IntelliJ IDEA itself (displayed in About)?

It may help if you update to the latest version from http://www.jetbrains.com/idea/download/index.html, reinstall the JDK and configure the new JDK for your project.

Problem reported. I was using JDK 1.8 for the project. 

IDEA:

IntelliJ IDEA 2019.3.1 (Ultimate Edition)
Build #IU-193.5662.53, built on December 18, 2019

Runtime version: 11.0.5+10-b520.17 x86_64
VM: OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM by JetBrains s.r.o

macOS 10.15.2
