Site-packages in red

Answered
I noticed that site packages folder and all in the folder are red. When try to change Excluded in setting doesn’t take any effect. Do the supposed to be red? I’m sorry if it’s a silly question just starting with PyCharm

Do you mean it's marked as library root or as excluded?

Both options are fine actually. The meaning of the first one is quite obvious I believe and the second one means that it's excluded from the search, refactoring, and others.

Hello Sergey

Thank you very much for your reply . I've attached few screenshots if it helps. To be honest I was playing around and installed insapy can those be related files? I can't see a way of changing it in the setting window. If you could be so kind and help me I would really appreciate it.

Thank you Radek

Firstly, the venv folder should be excluded to avoid issues when doing refactoring, search, and others.

Please right-click the venv folder and choose Mark Directory as -> Excluded.

Secondly, do not store your files inside the venv folder. Store them in the project root or inside its subfolders.

The fact that it's excluded won't affect your work in any way, you will still have code completion and other features.
