Find windows (ctrl+f and shift+ctrl+f) do not close when I hit Escape

This used to work for me up until today. Whenever I open a find window - either find in path or the normal find in page - hitting "escape" on my keyboard no longer closes it. This isn't a work stopper, but it's incredibly annoying. Any help would be appreciated - thanks!

Any related exceptions in the logs (https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/articles/207241085)?
Do you have Escape assigned correctly in the Keymap?
From what I can tell, it looks like I have the right keymappings set. I also don't see any exceptions in my logs unfortunately.
Well this is awkward - I changed nothing, just restarted intellij, and now all works. Very strange... but glad that seems to have resolved the issue.
