this is pic of error, i donot know if it is maven based. in the path of folders, i did not see maven, so it mean it is not based on maven? Thank you so much for the help. I do appreciate it.

Hi. It's not maven, it's IDEA project settings file, the problem is XML got malformed for some reason.
There was a merge conflict. Resolve it via version control or revert the merge. You may also consider not committing IDE project files for the Maven based projects, see https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/articles/206544839 .
