Cannot see the Pandas Dataframe in Debugger
Answered
Down in the debugging console, for dataframes there is a "View as DataFrame" link which if I click, I have the pull out window in the main editor area's right edge. But when I pull it out, all I see are my dataframe indices without any ability to adjust the view.

I can see a narrow band of values on the right (in blue)
For my other dataframe in the same function, I get a scrollbar for the columns:

I tried undocking (floating), viewing as a Series, etc but nothing seems to get the columns in view.

I unticked Resize Automatically and now I can see the columns but the index is squished with no ability to stretch it out.
I'm not sure if this is a bug but I prefer a version with less bells and whistles. If I can get a scrollbar everytime, ability to resize columns and index everytime, etc not as options.
Hi,
It's definitely a bug + some usability problems.
We made a lot of improvements in 2020.3 https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/PY-41521 and will gradually improve it over time.
Feel free to try the EAP build https://www.jetbrains.com/pycharm/nextversion/
