IntelliJ keeps launching app in background? (LibGDX)

I have a libGDX project that I've been working on for more than 6 months. I had IntelliJ 2020.3.4 (Community) installed. Everything was working fine.

Then I updated to 2021.1.3 a week ago. Since then, there are many occasions when the Run button (Shift+F10) opens the game window in the background, behind the IDE, and I have to click it on the taskbar to bring it to the front. It's like the IDE does not give focus to the app automatically. I have to do this all the time and it is a little annoying. Sometimes it works fine, but 80% of the time it does this.

I haven't found any setting that changes this behaviour. Google is also not my friend this time.

Please help me solve this because it is starting to drive me nuts.
