Autosave doesen't work when modifying XML files

Hi there,

I'm currently trying to find why IntelliJ isn't autosaving my files (XML files) when changing them.

When enabling the Mark modified (*) option, the files are changed and reflected as unsaved. Is there any option to autosave them after modifying?

When clicking the commit button and canceling the commit afterwards the files are saved.
