Unable to run *.sql scripts

Answered

Hi,

All of a sudden I am unable to run sql files using <CTRL><SHIFT><F10>.    In the past I have been able to open a sql file within the IDE and run using one of the configured database connections in the "Database" pane.

Now IntelliJ is bringing up the "Database Navigator" plugin connection configuration window.  I don't remember installing Database Navigator and until today it hasn't been an issue.  I have uninstalled Database Navigator and the problem persists.  My understanding is that the Database Navigator uses the database client installed on the user's machine.  I don't want to install the database client as the JDBC based bundled "Database Tools and SQL" plugin was working just fine for my purposes.

Are you sure Database Navigator is not installed any more? Could you please share the logs (Help | Collect Logs and Diagnostic Data) and the screenshot of the dialog that you get?

Thanks for the quick response.  I was just about to update.

I'm sorry.  I went with the nuclear option and cleared out the APPDATA directories having to do with IntelliJ.  Now IntelliJ is behaving as expected.

I am sure that I clicked uninstall in the IDE for the Database Navigator plugin, and after restart the plugin was not there according to the plugins window.

The next time I post a problem I'll back up the logs.
