Hi, at this moment, AppCode doesn't have full project configuration facilities: you cannot create targets in it. This functionality will be added in the future versions.

Philip,it's not possible to switch them off, but you can tune the colors in Editor | Colors & Fontds | General (Added Lines, Modified Lines, Deleted Text).

It is not possible to create a folder inside a 'virtual group' (marked with semi-transparent icon); mostly becasue it doesn't make much sense to have such configurations.But we are open to discussion.
