Rename the folder to idea1101.app and chmod +x idea1101.app/Contents/MacOS/idea

Definitely, although I think it still has quite a few rough edges, but it's certainly moving in the right direction.

Using make, this is definitely an issue in IDEA, and I believe there's an SCR filed with one of you guys saying it's a jikes bug.

Ouch, yeah that sucks.There are two issues though, with javac dying, there should be some output...hopefully! all that is shown is 'compiler internal error'
