Thanks, the problem was I used JDK from this path:/System/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/1.6.0.jdk/Contents/Home

Try also 1.6 not 1.6*It works for me. For better performence you should give IDEA more memory if you want to use 64-bit VM. I have 4GB in my MacBook and this in the Info.plist:-Xms256m -Xmx1024m -X...
