Cccabdalla, are you using macOS? If so, it's a different shortcut there: Cmd+Alt+Left/Right.You can check the shortcut in Settings/Preferences | Keymap | Search for action "Back"

Please check if disabling Settings | Tools | Terminal | Add default project PHP interpreter to $PATH and opening a new terminal tab helps.

The crosshair icon in the Project pane top is designed specifically for that.Behind the gear icon, you can find a way to do that automatically, 'Autoscroll from Source'. I hope I got you right.

This behavior can be disabled at Help | Find Action | Registry | editor.show.special.chars.

That is weird design, but apparently you need to assign some shortcut to the action in order to make Run Anything stop respond on double Ctrl.
