Macro not recording 'escape'

Hello,

I have a very basic macro that should search a character and cut the line before it. When I record it, I do a 'find' and hit escape to return to the code and cut the line. Unfortunately, when I execute it, it stucks at the 'find' and when I look at the macro content, the 'escape' is not recorded.

How can I solve this?
