2 interface questions about IDEA

Can Idea maximize a particular tab in the editor?
This is the ONLY thing that I prefer in eclipse to
IDEA but I may just be missing this feature in IDEA
somehow. Sometime I just want to see the code and
nothing without having to close all the other windows
(ant,cvs,messages,project...etc)
I notice that the when I rerun a command from any menu, my last
command is highlighted. Is that just a hint for the user or is there a
shortcut for executing the last command?
