CPU spikes & lockups with IU183.3795.13, Scala plugin & Mohave OSX

With the latest EAP, I'm seeing regular lockups & CPU spikes, I feel these are associated with cut & paste. They leave me having to Force Quit. Not surprisingly, I don't think there are any IDE fatal errors to upload.
Are others seeing the same problem?

I first noticed you article https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/articles/207241235 is incorrect, it says "Profiler agent is enabled by default in EAP builds" but this does not appear to be the case. I have now enabled it.
As soon as I tried to reproduce it using cut & paste, saw a freeze without excess CPU usage, so have collected the logs from that & have reported https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-201010 .
I hope that helps.
When I next see high CPU usage I will try to report that too
