@chrisjj , I see. Please check for log in C:\Users\Chris\.PyCharm2019.4\system\log.Is there any reason to use an outdated version of PyCharm? Does it behave as expected on the recent 2024.1.2?

@chrisjj , please try to locate the logfile manually from C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\JetBrains\<PyCharmVersion>\
