It's simply becasue there is no plugin for IDEA that brings AppCode functionality into it.And while it's no simple task to convert AppCode into IntelliJ IDEA plugin, we can't promise it anytime soon.

Matthias,those red grouos are groups what miss associated folder.You can check and fix the group's folder in Xcode's Utilities tab:

Seamus, we are currently working on AppCode help, but it's not ready yet.Meanwhile, you can find info on the LIve Templates in IntelliJ IDA help, as AppCode uses the same platform.
