Applications can also register a global key for a service. Go to any app, then click its title in the menu bar then look through the services submenu. Any shortcut listed there can't be used by IDE...

I don't mind IDEA using 1.4 if that didn't stop you from developing 1.5 plugins, and didn't result in any loss of functionality.

I'd say so. My 4.5 license says it expired on 8/31, so a couple of weeks before you need to panic about new licenses not showing up.

Good job, even though I think it's bug ridden and has so many things missing and nobody loves me etc etc, I'm off to buy 20-25 licenses, to punish myself for complaining so much.
