create a module and add the source paths to your snippets to the module, then use this module inside your other projects. this is what i am doing.

i don't see a problem here. no one is using idea without ever stopping to type. also, parsing a file only takes a few seconds. jetbrains should fix the "parsing stop when pressing non-write-buttons...

because the gc will run anyway as soon as it need to. it's like writing "at first, i took a pencil" into your diary.

got the same problem when assigning hotkeys - i press "p", which is "z" in dvorak (german edition), but the "keystoke"-textfield shows a small "L"

this happened to me a few times. i forgot a method or field watchpoint and wondered why the app was slowing down so much. maybe there should be some kind of hint, like some icon having a different ...
