Register menu is disabled, cannot enter the license

Help | Register menu is disabled in EAP (Early Access Program) versions of the products. It's by design, EAP builds can run for 30 days since the build date without a license. If EAP build expires, you should download and install the new EAP build (if available) or switch to the release build that can be registered via the Help menu.

Register option is also available at the bottom of the Welcome Screen dialog.

This sounds like a bad idea... what if the new EAP build contains a feature break or bug so bad that I need to stay on an older version?

Or an alternative use case: start an older version of the product to double-check if a bug that I found in a new EAP existed before?

Hi,

A week ago I tried to renew my licence with my new university email but the form could not automatically verify my email. Therefore, I applied sending a bunch of documents that prove I am enrolled. However, I did not receive any kind of confirmation email about the form being sent nor have I received any response. I tried contacting with no luck either. My licence is expiring today and I am in the middle of an important university project so losing it would really be a problem right now.
